Tired of Dirty Rugs?
Area rugs provide comfort and esthetics to any home or office. But because they’re usually laying on a hard surface floor, they collect a significant amount of soil, which leads premature wear. For delicate Oriental or Persian rug cleaning, we follow industry best practices as outlined by the IICRC. This includes rug dusting, hand-washing, and restoration for heirloom-quality textiles.
The Benefits of Clean Rugs
Besides the welcoming look and feel of clean, soft Persian rugs, you’ll love knowing your textiles are allergen and soil-free. You can breathe easy knowing we’ve improved your indoor air quality, and extended the life of your Oriental rugs for years to come.
- Removes deep, abrasive soils
- Eliminates dust and allergens
- Extends the life of your rug
- Improves indoor air quality

Rug Cleaning Options
Area rugs come in many different makes, shapes and sizes including flatweave, knotted and shag. Whether your make is woven, tufted, has fringe or contains pet urine contamination, we offer the right solution for you rug.
In-Plant Rug Cleaning
This service involves giving your rug a deep bath for complete soil removal. The turnaround time is approximately two weeks and we offer delivery service to/from your Middle Tennessee home. Additional services include stain & odor treatment, fringe cleaning and stain/UV light protectant.
In-Home Rug Cleaning
To ensure your textile dries in a timely manner (12 to 24 hours), we clean your rug as if it were carpet – topically. This ensure we don’t wet the back of your rug, so you’re safe to leave it on your wood floor for the cleaning. Note: In-home cleaning is estimated to be five times less effective as our in-plant service, but it delivers quality interim and topical cleaning results. Additional services include stain & odor treatment and stain protectant.
Your Oriental Rug Cleaning Authority
EverClean Nashville holds a certification by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). Our certified service ensures your area rugs are not only cleaned professionally, but to the IICRC Standards. We provide a detailed Rug Pre-inspection Report that tells us important aspects of your rug before we begin the process.
Our Rug Pre-inspection Report ensures rug preservation and your complete satisfaction. Besides how your rug is made, the report tells us if you have a vegetable based dye or a permanent, if the rug has pet urine contamination, and if if contains latex glue. We also look for wear, damage and unique issues to ensure the preservation of your rug during the cleaning process. Along with premium, wool-safe cleaning solutions, we ensure a gentle and thorough cleaning of your fine rugs.

Rug Cleaning Frequently Asked Questions
- How long does it take my rug to dry? Depending the soil load and the fiber thickness, your fibers should dry within 12 to 24 hours after your in-home cleaning. Note: Wool can take up to 10 days to reach humidity levels equal to your home. For this reason, we advise not to replace furniture until then or place plastic tabs to eliminate furniture stains.
- Can you clean my rug in my home or at your plant? We offer both options. In-home cleaning is topical, similar to carpet. In-plant cleaning offers a much deeper cleaning and more thorough results.
- What is the price difference for in-home compared to in-plant? Get a free online quote now.
- How much do you charge for rug cleaning? Get a free online quote now.
- How long will you keep my rug? In-plant cleaning is thorough process that takes about 2 weeks to complete. After the cleaning, we recommend the rug is laid flat in an air-conditioned home for at least 10 days to ensure it reaches relative humidity. Wrapping it or storing it outdoors is not advisable and can cause permanent damage.
- Do you offer pick up and delivery or do we need to drop it off? Yes, we offer full delivery and you may also handle delivery as well, by appointment only.
- Can you clean with the door closed because I have a dog? No, while we cover your door with a tarp, we need the door ajar so we can run hose from our van into your home.
